Flash-Point Warranty Policy
We guarantee Flash-Point products to be free of manufacturing defects to the original purchaser for one calendar year from date of purchase. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, crashes or any modification after leaving the factory.
Flash-Point wheels or any related product purchased through unauthorized dealers or channels carry NO WARRANTY and are sold as is. Assistance to locate authorized dealers is available.
Any Flash-Point product must be returned to the factory for inspection. Dealers are not authorized to replace products without prior approval. Upon inspection by a factory specialist, Flash-Point will determine cause of failure and may replace the product, credit your account or return the product as is.
If you believe you have a valid warranty claim please do the following:
- Return the product to dealer where you made the original purchase along with your dated sales receipt.
- Should this not be possible, please call 1-800-230-2387 and speak to a customer representative who will guide you through our returns process, issue a Return Authorization (RA number) and help arrange for you to ship the product back to us.
Please note:
Flash-Point is unable to accept products shipped to them without a clear RA number on the outside of the box.
Enclose a letter that gives:
- Your name
- Street address (no P.O. Box numbers please)
- Daytime and evening phone numbers where we can contact you
- The reason for returning the product
- What you would like us to do
Send your package via a traceable shipping method (UPS, certified US mail, FedEx). Insure the package against loss and damage while in transit.
Flash-Point is not responsible for packages until they arrive and are checked into our warranty department.
Please remove ALL accessory items, including tires, rim tape, cassettes, quick releases, computer magnets, spoke protectors, etc. If you fail to remove these items, we are not responsible for loss or damage and will charge you an additional handling fee of $25-00.
In the case where your product is within the warranty period, but is damaged either by yourself or in a race accident, etc., we have a No Fault/Crash Replacement Policy. This policy covers a 5 year period following the purchase date of your product. We will require you to call and obtain an RA number in this situation as well and return the product to us. You are then able to purchase a brand new product for a reduced price to replace your damaged product. We can quote the price to you when you call.
