Market excitement and early orders

With Eurobike and Interbike past, we can relax (somewhat!) and reflect on the reception Flash-Points have received thus far.
Launching a new price-point can generate a momentum of its own - so how do we get a feel for actual product appeal separate from new product hype? We have been monitoring feedback from our eager band of test riders, adjusting for irritations and tweaking to make the wheels more balanced and 'comfortable'.
Judging by the current order flow, Flash-Points do seem to have hit a sweet spot. In these early days, FP40s are slightly ahead of the deeper FP60s, but this may easily be reversed when the season gets underway next year and riders come to appeciate the advantage of our aerodynamic design.
Right now production is pulling out all the stops to stay ahead and deliver on time
Back in the Saddle again.....

Wow, it seems like the last 45 days have been a whirlwind of travel and expo. I will end this crazy time of the year with a short to trip to Europe for the Cycle UK show in London here next week. In the tim that I am home and in the office, I have been itching to get back on the bike and get some miles in.
Needless to say, I'm taking every opportunity to get on the bike again after a long haitus. Last night's ride was a testament to muscle atrophy and I hope that I was able to shock my legs back into remembering what it feels like to mash on the pedals once more. The Flash-Point wheels are still as true as can be and running fine. I'm fairly sure that the sluggish feeling that I was getting last night was my under used leg muscles screaming in agony.
It felt good to be back on the bike and I'm looking forward to some longer rides this weekend. This is a beautiful time of year in Indiana so I'll try to post some pictures as well.
Ciao for now!
